Jamaal Glenn has joined the board of LION Publishers, the association supporting local independent online news organizations across the United States and Canada.
Glenn brings experience in media entrepreneurship, finance, venture investing, and board governance to the organization. He has founded and sold digital-media businesses, worked as an executive at First Look Media, and advised and invested in organizations working across media and public impact.
The appointment reflects Glenn’s long-standing interest in sustainable business models for independent journalism.
